Increasing Iran incursion | Lebanese Hezbollah opens new headquarters and seizes villas in Damascus vicinity

Lebanese Hezbollah militia captured hangars of vegetables in Al-Sayyida Zainab area, south of Damascus, turning them into headquarters for Iranians and Hezbollah militias operating in the area.

Moreover, groups of Lebanese Hezbollah moved to Al-Sabourah area of Damascus and captured villas then they left their headquarters in “Villa” near Rami Makhlouf’s villa in Mezzeh Villat area.

Iran and its proxy militias continue to expand and extend their influence near the capital, Damascus, and extend their influence to towns south of Rif Dimashq adjacent to Al-Sayyida Zeinab area.

It is worth noting that Al-Sayyida Zeinab area, nearly eight kilometres to capital, Damascus, is the main stronghold of Iranian-backed militias south of Rif Dimashq.

According to SOHR sources, brokers working for the Iranians make tempting offers to buy civilians’ properties, to house the families of Iranian-backed fighters.

Iranian-backed militias exploit the poverty and destitution of the Syrians, who are mired in deteriorating living conditions.
