Turkish-held areas | “Al-Hamza Division” leader shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Al-Bab city east of Aleppo
Aleppo province: A commander of the “Hamza Division,” affiliated with Turkish-backed “National Army,” was shot dead by unidentified gunmen on Zamzam street in Al-Bab city centre in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.
This comes in light of security chaos that prevails in areas controlled by Turkish-backed factions.
On December 28, armed members of Ahrar Al-Sham movement kidnapped two young men from Al-Hasakah on their way to a “smuggler” in Al-Bab city in the eastern countryside of Aleppo to cross into Turkey on the road between the cities of Al-Bab and Al-Ra’i. The two men were carrying 25,000 USD.
The two young men, on Van H1, were arrested near Olan village in Al-Bab countryside by Ahrar Al-Sham members who kidnapped the two young men and left the driver.
It is worth noting that the kidnappers were travelling in a white “Toyota Land Cruiser” and a white “van.” The kidnappers demanded the two men’s families pay 100,000 USD for their release.
