First patrol since Turkish escalation | US and SDF conduct joint inspection patrols in Al-Raqqah

Al-Raqqah province: US and SDF forces have conducted joint patrols to monitor and inspect Abyad road to Al-Raqqah city.

It is worth noting that these are the first patrols conducted in the area after the Turkish military escalation on the area and Tel Abyad countryside.

On November 29, SOHR activists reported that dozens of residents of Al-Tirwaziyah village in eastern Tel Abyad countryside northern of Al-Raqqah, went out on protests denouncing the Turkish attacks on areas in NE Syria.

The protestors raised banners that read “Stop occupying Tel Abyad, stop occupying our lands” and “No for occupying Tel Abyad”, amid chants against Turkey.
