101st joint patrol | Russian and Turkish forces tour Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) countryside

SOHR activists have monitored new patrol conducted by Russian “Military Police” and Turkish forces in Ain Al-Arab/ Kobani countryside.

The patrol, consisting of eight Russian and Turkish military vehicles, has set off from Ghareeb in western Kobani countryside.

The patrol has toured the villages of Karbnaf, Kusk, Alishar, Jum Ali, Kortak, Kubak Satan, Tiri w Telijb, Tel Hajeb, Kabajq Sagheer, Talk, Buztabah, Qarah Mogh and Jayishan, reching to Kharbyisan Foqani village.

The patrol then toured the villages of Susan, Qula, Qarah Quah Tahtani, Binder, Mishkko, Jebnah, Jarqli Fawqani, to Ashma village, west of Kobani.

The patrol then has returned to Ghareeb village, while the Russian vehicles returned to their position near Sarin village, south of Kobani.

It is worth noting that this patrol is the 101st between the two sides in the region since the Russian-Turkish agreement on a ceasefire in north-eastern Syria.
