Demanding allow entry of assistance and secure route out of the camp | Delegation from Al-Rukban camp meets with International Coalition

SOHR sources have reported that a delegation from Al-Rukban camp met this afternoon with a delegation of the International Coalition in Al-Tanaf base near the Syria-Iraq-Jordan border in order to discuss the latest developments in the camp and the situation of its inhabitants.

The delegation of Al-Rukban camp called upon the International Coalition for finding a way to allow the entry of urgent and periodical assistance to the camp’s inhabitants and working on securing a route out of the camp whether to SDF-held areas or north Syria region.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that women staged protests in Al-Rukban camp in the 55-km zone due to deteriorating living conditions, demanding aid and assistance to Al-Rukban camp.

This came in light of the bad living conditions and lack of essential products on markets of Al-Rukban camp, as well as the shortage of infant formula.

Moreover, the camp’s woman demanded the Civil Council organisations and UN hold responsibility towards the residents of the camp and provide aid and food supplies as soon as possible to help residents and children.
