Third infiltration attempt in three days | Clashes between SDF and Turkish-backed factions on Ain Issa frontlines leaves casualties
SOHR sources have reported violent clashes, for the third consecutive day, with artillery and heavy machineguns on the frontlines of Sayda village in Ain Issa countryside in northern Al-Raqqah following an infiltration attempt by Turkish-backed factions into SDF posts. Confirmed reports suggested that the clashes left fatalities in the ranks of the factions, while several combatants on both have been injured. Also, heavy gears have been destroyed.
Last night, SOHR sources reported renewed clashes for the second consecutive day on frontlines of Ain Issa in northern Al-Raqqah following an infiltration attempt by Turkish-backed factions into SDF positions in Sayda and Mu’allaq villages in the north of Ain Issa. The clashes resulted in the damage of a military vehicle of the factions, but no casualties have been reported.
A day earlier, SOHR sources reported an infiltration attempt by Turkish-backed factions into SDF positions in Ain Issa countryside in the north of Al-Raqqah. Clashes erupted between the two sides near the M4 highway on the outskirts of Mu’allaq village in the west of Ain Issa, amid reports of casualties on both sides.
