Ain Issa | SDF shell post of “Al-Amshat”, killing and wounding ten
Al-Raqqah Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR activists have documented the death of three members of the Turkish-backed faction “Suleiman Shah” and injury of seven others, after Syria Democratic Forces fired a heat-seeker missile on their position on the frontlines of Al-Musharefah town in Ain Issa area in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah.
On the other hand, Turkish forces fired several rockets on Houshan and Abu Sorrah villages on the outskirts of M4 highway as well as attacking an SDF mechanised digger nearby the silos in the east of Ain Issa.
SOHR sources reported earlier today that reliable sources in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah informed the Syrian Observatory that the Russian forces which had withdrawn yesterday from Ain Issa base, returned this morning. Eight Russian armoured vehicles were seen arriving in the base where the Russian flag was raised again. However, no information were reported about the gains the Russians achieved and made them to return so fast, as it is common knowledge that Russia “extorts” SDF through repeated threats of withdrawal from Ain Issa. Such practices ignited anger and discontent of the area’s residents who fear of a possible military operation by Turkey.
