With Russian consent | SDF destroys bulldozer of Ankara-backed factions, east of Ain Issa

SOHR activists say that SDF targeted and destroyed a bulldozer belonging to the Ankara-backed factions, which was erecting soil barriers and fortifying posts on Jahbal frontline in eastern countryside of Ain Issa, north of the city of Raqqa on Wednesday.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, the attack came with a green light by the Russian side in Ain Issa. It is worth noting that this is the first time Russia has given the green light to SDF for such attacks.

Yesterday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored clashes with medium and heavy weapons between SDF and Turkish-backed factions, following an infiltration attempt by Turkish-backed factions on frontlines of the villages of Al-Mishrefa and Jabhal in the countryside of Ain Issa, north of Raqqa. No casualties were reported so far.

This comes after about six days of tense calm on these frontlines.
