At Russia’s orders | Regime forces release over 60 detainees from Daraa

Reliable SOHR sources have confirmed that the Syrian regime’s security branches have released over 60 detainees from Daraa province all arrested after the beginning of the “Syrian Revolution”. According to SOHR sources, the action came at Russia’s orders.

In July, reliable sources told SOHR that the regime’s security services released three young men from Al-Suwaidaa, who were arrested in anti-regime demonstrations during June. The young people were released after mediation by “al-Aql” elders.

On June 15, reliable SOHR sources confirmed that regime security services arrested more than ten demonstrators after participating in an anti-regime demonstration in Al-Suwaidaa city. Meanwhile, tension and security alertness were on the rise as the anti-regime demonstration was attacked by regime loyalists.
