Drone attacks | Airstrikes kill “Huras al-Din” commander in Idlib city

Reliable sources have informed SOHR that a commander of the “Huras al-Din” organization of Tunisian nationality was killed today, after a drone belonging to the International Coalition targeted his car in Al-Qusoor neighbourhood of Idlib city, using “Ninja” missiles which are being used by the International Coalition forces in such drones attacks.

Syrian Observatory activists have just monitored drones striking a vehicle carrying a jihadist in Al-Qusur neighbourhood in Idlib city. The attack resulted in the killing of the driver and destroying the vehicle.

On August 13, reliable SOHR sources confirmed that airstrikes by drones affiliated to the International Coalition killed an Uzbek jihadi commander. The targeted commander, known as “Abu Yehia”, was an independent “military trainer” and worked for jihadi factions. Moreover, the commander worked recently for “Hurras Al-Din” organization which swore allegiance to the al-Qaida, internationally-labeled as a terrorist organization.

The commander was targeted by the Coalition-affiliated drones nearby Sarmada town in the northern countryside of Idlib, near Iskenderun border, while he was traveling in his private car, which caused his immediate death.
