YPG, backed by rebel battalions, takes control over the French cement plant of Lafarj and 3 new villages

Reliable sources informed SOHR that YPG, backed by rebel battalions, could take control over the French cement plant of Lafarj located in the northwest of Ayn Isa in the province of al- Raqqa after violent clashes with IS. The sources confirmed that YPG, supported by the rebel battalions, could seize 3 new villages near the plant. Thus, the number of villages seized by YPG in the province of al- Raqqa in the last two days has risen to 7. The clashes resulted in the death of 6 members of IS rising the number of IS members who have been killed since 2 days until now to 30.
