IS militants beat a man severely, and the regime forces shell areas in the city of Deir Ezoor

Deir Ezzor Province: Clashes are taking place between IS and the regime forces in the south of Deir Ezzor City.

 

The regime forces shelled places in the neighborhood of al- Rasafah in the city of Deir Ezzor causing material damages and fire outbreak.

 

Cross- cutting information reported to SOHR that IS militants had beaten a man severely because he was trying to bring in some food supplies into the regime- held areas in the city of Deir Ezzor leading to wound him seriously.

 

In April 2, SOHR reported that a man drowned in the Euphrates river when he was trying to come out of the regime- held areas in the city of Deir Ezzor. The sources confirmed that the young man was trying to come out of the city after the regime forces and IS have prevented people to come out of the city with the exception of pathological cases.

 

In March 5, SOHR published that IS prevented 3 vehicles carrying food supplies to enter the regime- held neighborhoods in the city of Deir Ezzor, including the neighborhoods of al- Jorah and al- Qosor, and IS militants beat the drivers of those vehicles.  

 

In addition to, in February 9, SOHR reported that IS arrested 30 citizens, including 7 women, during their attempt to pass the crossing of al- Jnaynah towards the regime- held areas in the city of Deir Ezzor. The sources confirmed that IS militants hit some men when they arrested them.
