Fierce fighting breaks out in the city of Idlib, and withdrawal of the Islamic factions inside the city

 

Idlib Province: Violent clashes have broken out between the Nusra Front, Jund al- Aqsa, Ahrar al- Sham Movement and other Islamic factions against the regime forces and allied militiamen due to counter- attack launched by the regime forces on the fighters’ positions, who could advance and seize neighborhoods located on the outskirts of the city of Idlib. The clashes resulted in the death of 14 fighters from the Nusra Front and Islamic battalions, including a commander in Ahrar al- Sham Movement, a local emir in the Nusra Front and a commander in an Islamic faction, and at least 6 members from the regime forces and allied militiamen. The information also reported withdrawal of the Nusra Front and Islamic factions inside the city.

 

A suspected ground- to- ground missile landed on an area in the town of Ma’arret Mesrin leading to wound some people. 2 other missiles struck areas in the towns of Sarmin and Saraqeb.

 

2 women and 3 children died due aerial bombardment on the town of Ma’arret Mesrin.
