The IS kidnaps 220 Assyrian civilians in Tal Tamir countryside

The number of Assyrian civilians who were kidnapped by the IS during the past 3 days from 11 villages in Tal Tamir countryside in al-Hasakah has risen to 220. Information reported that IS took them to Abd al-Aziz mount southwest of Tal Tamir. The IS controls 10 Assyrian villages in Tal Tamir area, which witnessed a large traffic of displacement, reports that the IS detained Syrian fighters in YPG during its operations in the area. Assyrian resources reported to SOHR that negotiations are taking place through mediators from Arabian tribes and an Assyrian figures to release the kidnapped, the resources also reported to SOHR that the IS burned 2 churches in Tal Tamir countryside.
