IS militants kidnap 56 Assyrian citizens in the countryside of al- Hasakah

Al- Hasakah Province: Reliable sources reported to SOHR that IS militants kidnapped 56 Assyrian citizens at least in the village of Tal Shamiram located around the town of Tal Tamer in the countryside of al- Hasakah. The sources confirmed that they heard via wireless devices IS members saying that they detained “56 crusaders”. Meanwhile, information reported that dozens of Assyrian people were kidnapped from the village of Tal Hermez.

 

IS executed 2 citizens for “dealing with Kurds” in the village of Ghibsh located after the town of Tal Tamer onwards Aleppo road.  

 

Meanwhile, the violent clashes between IS and YPG are still taking place after bringing military reinforcement by YPG. The clashes resulted in the death of 4 IS militants. Cross- cutting sources also confirmed that most of IS militants who launched the attack come from the countryside of al- Hasakah and some of them are Caucasian.
