YPG fighters advance in the city of Ayn al- Arab “Kobani”

 

Reliable sources reported to SOHR that YPG fighters could seize the neighborhood of Botan Gharbi located in the south of Ayn al- Arab city “Kobani” and in the northwest of Mashta Nour Plain after violent clashes with IS militants .

 

IS militants attacked YPG positions in the Municipality area, coincided with airstrikes carried out by US led coalition warplanes on areas in the neighborhood of al- Sena’ah in the east of Kobani.

 

IS militants launched 43 shells on areas in the city of Kobani with no information about casualties, while Peshmerga forces shelled IS positions in the farm of Kikan in the western countryside of Kobani.
