The hunger- strike continues in the Central Prison of Homs

 

Homs Province: SHOR knew that dozens of detainees in the Central Prison of Homs are still continuing in their hunger- strike for the fourth day respectively; some of them had completed their sentences period, others had been sentenced to life imprisonment against the backdrop of demonstrating 3 years ago and the rest is criminal prisoners who also completed their sentences period but the regime authorities have not released them pretending loss of their documents. The detainees and hunger- strikes declared that they will continue their hunger- strike due to the mistreatment, lack of food and medicines and rejecting requests of release until the minister of national reconciliation “Ali Hayder” comes and carries out their demands.

 

The regime forces shelled and opened fire this morning on areas in the neighborhood of al- Wa’er.

 

Information reported that a member in NDF died in the violent clashes in the vicinity of Om Sharshoh village in the northern countryside of Homs.
