Jund al- Aqsa Organization stoned 2 women to death for “adultery”

SOHR could document the incident of “stoning to death” carried out by Jund al- Aqsa yesterday in December 18, against 2 women from the town of Saraqeb in Idlib province, where they arrested them on charge of “adultery” 2 weeks ago. Reliable sources from the town of Saraqeb informed SOHR that the punishment carried out in the area located between the two towns of Sermin and al- Nayrab by an order issued by the Sharia court of Jund al- Aqsa in Sermin. After carrying out punishment of “stoning” an ambulance came and took the two bodied to al- Shefaa Hospital in the town of Saraqeb, then the families of these women came to the hospital in order to take the bodies and bury them.

 

Note that in October 21, SOHR documented the first “stoning” against a man for “adultery” in the town of Saraqeb carried out by Islamic factions followed the Sharia court in the town, including al- Nusra Front and Jund al- Aqsa. They stoned him in a post of an Islamic battalion on the outskirts of Saraqeb town, amid conflicting information about the women who committed adultery with him.

 

In December 12, reliable sources informed SOHR activists that IS stoned to death for “adultery” a man and a woman in the outskirts of Manbej city in the northern eastern countryside of Aleppo after Friday prayer, where some militants and people carried out the punishment.

 

In addition to, SOHR documented in December 3, that IS stoned to death for “adultery” a man in al- Fayhaa Square in the city of al- Bokamal of “al- Forat province”.

SOHR activists also reported that the IS stoned a man to death for the same reason in al-Takaia street in al-Hamedia, Der-Ezzor.

 

IS also stoned to death in last October 21, a man in the city of al- Bokamal, where reliable sources informed SOHR that IS militants caught him involved a flagrant while he was sleeping with a woman.

 

in July 17, Islamic State carried out, for the second time in 24 hours, the punishment of Al- Rajem (stoning to death for adultery) against another woman in the city of Al Raqqa in a square near the Municipal Stadium, where the IS fighters threw her by stones to death after bringing a pickup full of stones because people refused to participate of stoning. They also carried out the punishment of Al- Rajem (stoning to death for adultery) against a woman from the city of Al Tabaqa, where she was brought after Eshaa Prayer to the Popular Market in the city of Al Tabaqa and stoned to death. It was cleared that the woman was 26 years old and she was a widow named SH.M.A.
