Dozens of Kurds in the city of Aamoda in the province of al- Hasakah staged a sit- in demanding to release a 15 years old child and to return her to their parents. The protesters accused the Democratic Union Party to accept this child a conscript. SOHR had received protests from the relatives of this child and relatives of another in the town of al- Qahtaneyyi, where SOHR demanded the Self-management of Democracy of al- Jazira Province to discuss these two cases and to return the two children to their relatives. On the other hand, SOHR demanded YPG to stop recruiting of children under the age of 18. Meanwhile, prominent leading sources in the Democratic Union Party assured to SOHR that the two children are existing in rehabilitation camps of youths and that YPG does not accept those who are under the age of 18 to fight.
