US led coalition warplanes strike IS positions in differnet areas in Kobani

 

SOHR had informed that violent clashes between YPG and IS fighters erupted in Al- Hal Market, Municipality and Azadi Roundabout areas in the east of Kobani in an attempt by IS to retake positions that YPG seized few days ago, information reported an advance for YPG in al- Hal Market area. The clashes between the two parties lasted until morning, and assured information reported that YPG seized weapons.

 

US led coalition warplanes carried out 5 strikes on IS positions in the areas of al- Sena’ah, Municipality and the area located between Azadi Roundabout and the city hall in Kobani City.

 

Meanwhile, US led coalition carried out a strike on Manazi area in the western countryside of Kobani. They also carried out 2 strikes on areas in the south of the city.

 

YPG and Peshmerga forces shelled IS positions in the western countryside of Kobani, while the number of shells launched by IS militants on the city has risen 25 since yesterday morning. The clashes between the two sides resulted in death of 9 militants.
