SOHR appeals urgently to rescue more than 200,000 displaced
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights appeals urgently to rescue more than 200000 displaced from the Syrian Kurdish citizens.
Dozens of thousands from the Syrian Kurdish citizens have still spent their days in the open-air in very hard circumstances on the Syrian- Turkish border, where they have been forced to displace from their villages in the countryside of Ayn al Arab which were seized by IS militants 2 weeks ago. This led to make them move from 68 villages since the beginning of IS attack in September 16. A large number of citizens could cross the border towards the Turkish territory looking for safe haven and not to be their destiny like the 800 people of their relatives who are still missing for 12 days; it is unknown whether they are still alive or killed by IS.
With the continuous approaching of IS towards the city of Ayn al Arab, being tightened sieged, seizing its villages one by one and displacing more and more citizens, so we in SOHR urgently calls to the UN high commissioner for refugees, the international Red Crescent and Red Cross as well as to all humanitarian organization that can help to send their crews to Ayn al arab in order to give a hand for those displaced people, including children, women and old men, who were forced to leave their homes due to war with IS fighters, exactly the same what has happened to millions of their brothers all over Syria who have been forced to displace inside the Syrian territory because of the regime forces and their warplanes. As well as the same what happened to their Arab brothers who were displaced from their homes because of IS in the provinces of Deir Ezzor and al Raqqa.
