170 regular soldiers killed around al-Tabaqa military airport
Al Raqqa Province: Reliable resources reported to SOHR the number of the regime’s soldier who were killed in the Military Airport of al Tabaqa reached to 170 soldiers, including officers and sergeants. They were killed in the clashes with IS fighters occurred today and due to 2 suicide bombs committed by 2 fighters from IS. In addition to, 150 soldiers, who retreated from the airbase, were besieged in the orchards and farmlands near the airbase. It expected that they were captured by IS.
The same resources reported that the number of IS fighters who were killed in clashes, bombardment and aerial attack on their headquarters and gatherings has risen to 346 since the beginning of the attack on the airbase.
The warplanes carried out 2 raids on areas near the Roundabout of al Na’im where most of executions and the Sharia Punishments carried out there leading to the death of 5 people while others were injured.
The IS fighters launched 3 Grad rockets on areas in Maz’at al Ejrawi which has witnessed clashes between the soldiers who retreated from the airbase and the IS fighters.
