clashes broke out in Der Ezzor
Deir Izzor province: Clashes broke out yesterday between 2 Arabian tribes in the al-Mayadin area which led to the Shari’a council to storm the houses of the gunmen from both tribes, confiscate their weapons and detain several of the gunmen. Rebel fighters launched several mortar shells on regime strongholds in al-Sina’a neighbourhood. Regular forces renewed bombardment on areas of Deir Izzor city. Activists reported that they heard an explosion in al-Mayadin last night which turned out to be an IED attack near the post centre. 1 rebel fighter was killed by clashes with regular forces in the al-Rashdiya neighbourhood of Deir Izzor city.
